Tristan is an empathetic and loving 17-year-old who appears confident and popular in Eastbrooke, but hides the loneliness and emotional weight she a mother who is rarely around and a stepdad whom she barely knows, she finds comfort in her best friend Raine’s chaotic life, where she feels like she truly fits in. Unlike Raine, Tristan struggles to hide what she feels, often wishing she could be as guarded and unreadable as Raine. As she is forced to confront the realities of growing up, Tristan begins to lose the innocence she once held onto, realizing that the world is not as safe or simple as she once believed. But beneath their deep friendship, Tristan is keeping one secret from Raine: the true depth of her feelings for her.
